Wessel Marquering, PhD, CAIA

I hold a PhD in Financial Economics received at the Catholic University of Leuven, and am CAIA (Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst) charter holder. Previously, I obtained a Master's degree in Econometrics (cum laude) at Tilburg University. I taught at the RSM Erasmus University and published articles on asset pricing and predictability of returns and volatility in the Journal of Financial and Quantitative Analysis, Journal of Banking and Finance, Journal of Financial Econometrics, Journal of Empirical Finance and many other journals. I have completed several consulting projects and have working experience as Chief Quantitative Analyst for a hedge fund. Currently I am working as Quantitative Research Analyst at Taler Asset Management in Gibraltar.
